Problem: MESSY unorganized pantry
Solution: Plastic Storage Bins
If you have children you may find that things in your pantry get knocked over often. Dumped, spilled, or just rearranged. The only solution that works for our home is bins. I plan to label them soon…. We have a “kids snack bin” – this contains a variety of snacks and is kept on the lowest shelf. If the kids want a snack, I tell them to pick out of the snack bin. As you can see I keep it stocked with Organic Yogurt Bites, pretzels, graham crackers, fruit snacks, goldfish, and more. No more digging through the pantry trying to find something. Pull the bin out, put the bin back. I also keep sandwich/snack baggies in there for them!
The bins I currently use are:
Snack Bin (mentioned above)
Cereal Bin – this has all of the currently opened cereals. New cereals cannot be opened until the cereals in the bin are gone. I also keep packets of oatmeal in the cereal bin.
Everyday Bin– this has the items we use on a regular (daily or multiple times a day) basis. Peanut Butter, Bread, cooking spray, salt, pepper, etc.
Up High I keep my bins:
That’s all I have for now, but I plan to add more bins soon. (The bins pictured were $1 each at Walmart!!)
