Pinterest Pin of the Day 3/8

pic from one good thing

THE MIRACLE STAIN REMOVER:
and oh so easy to make!

1 part Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (the original blue kind)
2 parts Hydrogen Peroxide
Mix together and pour directly on the stain

Ideas:

Put the mixture in a spray bottle to make it easier!
**reader Allison let me know: peroxide looses it’s effectiveness when exposed to light – so if you mix ahead of time, it’s not going to work as well. Though a spray bottle top does fit onto the peroxide bottle**

Have a LARGE item – make the mixture in a bucket with HOT WATER!

I have heard MANY MANY success stories – so I’m trying this one today – I KNOW I can find something stained in this house of 4 kids – I’m thinking BASEBALL pants!!

Just so you know – peroxide looses it’s effectiveness when exposed to light – so if you mix ahead of time, it’s not going to work as well. Though a spray bottle top does fit onto the peroxide bottle :)

does it work on pizza/spaghetti sauce? chocolate ice cream? that is what I have problems removing! and I have a very sloppy 7 year old – too big for bibs but she could sure use one! LOL!
