Now onto our family fun baking this week. My daughter is in LOVE with the Disney Frozen Characters & Movie, so we decided to make some Frozen Themed Cake Pops. I used the new Immaculate Baking Dry Baking Mixes (Natural Chocolate Cake Scratch Baking Mix). Let me tell you how easy and convenient it was to use the box mix instead of 100% from scratch.
The only ingredients needed are butter, eggs, and milk.
The mix was very smooth, and I was a little nervous because it seemed to be on the thinner side. However, once it came out of the oven, I could tell it was perfect. And EXTREMELY moist – which made it really hard not to eat as I was crumbling the cake for our cake pops.
Look at that MOIST deliciousness! Once we crumbled the cake in a bowl, we added 2 large tablespoons of frosting and created the balls.
We then dipped the sticks in melted white chocolate, inserted in the cake balls and popped in the freezer for 20 minutes. Once they are set, we dipped in white chocolate and decorated.
Two thumbs up for the new Immaculate Baking Boxed Mixes. These are the MOST MOIST Cake Pops we have ever tasted. DELICIOUS!
