Disclosure: I was provided with a trip to Anaheim to help with my review and experience. All opinions are 100% my own
I just returned from the Cars 3 Event in Anaheim California. The Cars 3 Red Carpet World Premiere took place Saturday evening at the Anaheim Convention Center and ended in Cars Land at Disneyland. What an amazing experience. One of the very best premieres I have ever attended. We were able to enjoy activities on the red carpet, see plenty of celebrities, dance, eat delicious food, and of course get to watch the new Cars 3 Movie with the cast and creators.
It all began with a walk down the actual red carpet where media were snapping photos and holding interviews. There are so many things to look at and mingling with all those beautiful people in gorgeous dresses and attire always makes me feel like a star myself. This red carpet event was full of celebrities. And the kindest, friendliest celebs I’ve ever had the privilege to meet.

Not only were the stars out to celebrate the new movie, the red carpet was full of fun. From temporary tattoos to plenty of fun photo opportunities for kids and adults alike.
After my haircut, I was ready to jump in Miss Fritters’ bus to take to the demolition derby. Miss Fritter is played by Lea DeLaria and is a new character to the Cars Movies. You will fall in love with her. Maybe not at first, but I promise you will!
After watching the movie and the short, LOU, which I will be reviewing for all of you very soon, we hopped on trams and headed to Cars Land located in the Disneyland Park. Once there, the party continued into the night. First up, more celebrity sightings.

Many celebrities brought their kids. And why not? It was a huge party at Disneyland full of rides, photo opportunities, dancing, music, and delicious food. Kids and adults seemed to have a great time.
My favorite celeb – Mater!
Every person we met was extremely nice and friendly. They were all willing to pose for a pic or two. Nathan Fillion (above right) even took our selfie since his arms were twice as long as mine.
To end out the night, we went on as many rides as we could. First up, Radiator Springs Racers. Don’t be fooled by the picture below. I absolutely loved the ride. So much so, I rode it a second time. As you can see, my dab failed. I just couldn’t bring myself to letting go of the handles!
As we were leaving the ride, I caught a glimpse of Owen Wilson (voice of Lightning McQueen) taking his very first ride on Lightning McQueen!!!
Next we headed to the NEW Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT ride at Disney’s California Adventure. More about that experience in a future post. But I wanted to share how it glows in the night sky:
Be sure to take the whole family to see CARS 3 THIS FRIDAY June 16th at a theater near you.
Bring on Larry the Cable Guy and McQueen. My grandchildren are going to love the new cars movie, okay all of us adults can hardly wait as well.
