Cottage Cheese Chip Dip
This dip is a family tradition. It’s so much fun to watch new friends faces when they scoop up what they believe to be cottage cheese and we tell them it’s chip dip! They look confused and a little grossed out at first. Til they taste it! It’s delicious – perfect for chips, pretzels, and even crackers. You CAN use the fat-free versions of these ingredients-but I don’t recommend it. It’s just not as good.
2 (8 ounce) bricks of cream cheese, softened
1 package of cottage cheese (16oz)
3 chopped green onions
garlic salt to season
Mix all ingredients above using an electic mixer. Refrigerate 2 hours. You can add a little milk if it’s not a good “dip consistency”.
