*For those of you new to Couponers United, I joined with some other bloggers and readers and we are all doing the Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred together. It’s not too late if you want to join us! I know I will continue past the 30 days myself*
I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks! How are you guys doing? I know that I have my days when I want to jump through the TV and tell Jillian how I feel about her, and then I have the days when I’m one step ahead of her and ready to do MORE! I have learned that I have to workout IN THE MORNING to get the best workout. If I wait til later I have so many other things on my mind: laundry, dishes, other housework, blogging, working at my desk for our rental company – that I quit a few minutes early or am just not “into” it as much.
How am I feeling? GREAT! I have more energy. I am stronger. I actually have an appetite in the mornings now – before I had to force myself to eat anything in the mornings, which I know led to overeating through the day.
Have I lost weight? YES! The first week on the 30day shred I lost 5 pounds. (I’m also on weight watchers) The second week I lost another 1.5lbs. Not bad! I’m only down 1 pant size, but I’m ok with that because I actually look ok in the pants now! LOL – no more sucking in to button my pants. They fit nice and feel great!
This week I am still on level 1. I did however purchase 5 pound weights- I was using 3 lb weights. And WOW I can feel the difference. My arms are very sore right now as I type, but I know that will go away in a day or two. I also purchased a Weight Watcher Scale this week. And my friend Amy told me about the Heart Rate Monitor Watch with Calorie Counter that you wear on your wrist that will also tell you how many calories you have burned. That’s next on my list – maybe I will ask hubby for one for Christmas 🙂
