I stumbled across this recipe today over at the Brickhouse Blog and I thought with all the FREE/CHEAP Cooking Creme we have been piling up, plus the awesome strawberry deals we have all been getting, this recipe was perfect to share (and it’s SUPER EASY):
Tasha’s Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
Makes 1 Serving = 1/3 cup
1/3 cup of Kraft Philadelphia Cooking Creme
approx 1 tsp of your favorite sweetener (sugar, Splenda, Truvia)
a small splash of vanilla or almond extract
Stir until mixed completely. Wash your strawberries (or blueberries, etc…)
Seriously, this is so simple, you really don’t need directions. Sometimes you just need the idea! If it is too sweet, add a bit more creme, if it is not sweet enough, add more sweetener.
Looking for a larger dessert?
Use the whole container of Cooking Creme, 1/4 sweetener and fold in an 8 oz tub of whipped topping.
You can also use this to build a trifle dessert by layering with angel food cake, chocolate cake or a brownie.
Starting from the bottom, add the cake, berries, then the cream mixture. Repeat until the bowl is full. Sprinkle with a few almond slivers
