This past week has been a whirlwind of excitement and activity for this stay-at-home mama! I traded in my usual morning yogurt & banana for an extravagant breakfast and left my sweatpants & tank tops at home for the Chimpanzee Red Carpet Event. Talk about a once in a lifetime experience…
And I didn’t have to spend a second in the kitchen!!!
The morning began with a FULL breakfast – eggs, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, and Mickey waffles of course. Walt Disney World sure has some awesome chefs. Check out the MICKEY BUTTER:
Then it was off to the Disney Conservation Awards where we heard inspiring words from Jane Goodall and other award recipients. We even heard from Bill Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company!! AMAZING.
Then we were whisked away by our own personal driver to the Red Carpet.
I didn’t have to be taxi-driver mama for a full 5 days!!!
We piled off the bus to see many photographers, media, and of course – STARS! As we stepped onto the Red Carpet I had to ask my blog buddy if she was SURE we were on the correct side of the ropes – we were literally WALKING the Red Carpet. Quite a change from just 2 days earlier when I was sitting in the car pick up line at 2 different schools, catching up on to-do lists and emails as I waited for my 4 kiddos to pile into the car – then heading to the baseball/softball field where I would spend the entire evening. 🙂
Be sure to check out my review of Disneynature’s Chimpanzee!
*I was provided with an all expense paid trip to the Red Carpet Premiere of Chimpanzee by Walt Disney Pictures, Global Resort Homes, and the Kissimmee CVB. All opinions are 100% mine.
