Welcome new couponers and those that want a refresher in couponing! We are starting from scratch in hopes to help all the new couponers out there get started. What does that mean? It means that we (the writers behind the site) are starting fresh as of now, purging all old coupons and coupon organization that we have in place, and taking you along with us to learn the ropes step by step. We will also be showing you our weekly hauls at the store, and some from readers like you as well, to keep you motivated and give you all of the tools you need to get started.
We have couponing videos, step-by-step posts, and even a few surprises in store for you. If you’re a seasoned couponer, but maybe you fell off the wagon for awhile, this is a great time to restart and recharge those skills.
WE CAN DO THIS!
Let’s get started. FIRST THINGS FIRST….You MUST change your thinking AND your shopping habits.
Many people make lists each week of what they want each week, head to the store and buy the items, no matter what the cost. That has to change. You have to think backwards. Ask yourself: What is on sale? What do I have a coupon for? What is on sale AND I have a coupon for? Then, meal plan. Yes, it can be more difficult at the beginning when you are filling your pantry and stockpiling. But after just a few weeks, voila! You have all your ingredients to make amazing meals all the time. And, you have SO MUCH of it, you will be giving it away!
