Want to save money on baby wipes? How about making your own? Seems simple enough! And, if you have a baby you most likely have all the ingredients on hand already. Not only will you save some $ but you can be in control of what chemicals are or are not in your babies wipes!
2 1/2 cups of water
1 tsp baby oil
2 tsp Baby Shampoo or Baby Bath
1/2 roll of paper towels
Mix all ingredients above in a bowl. If you’re using paper towels, cut the roll in half so that you have two short rolls. Remove cardboard center. Pour the solution into an air-tight container – you can use an old wipes container! Then place ONE of the rolls into the box, fasten the lid and turn the box over so the mixture can absorb into the paper towels. Voila – wipes!
Another option would be to put the solution into a spray bottle and spray the paper towels as you use them. OR use reusable cloths that you can throw into the washer.
Other options to add: 3-5 drops tea tree oil , 8 drops lavender oil, or canlendula oil
