Make Your Own Dryer Sheets

Make your own dryer sheets and save some money on your laundry:

  1. Dip a wash cloth into your favorite fabric softener (I use Snuggle)
  2. Ring them out and set them out to dry.
  3. Toss  in the dryer with each load of clothes.
Tips:
  1. You should be able to use each dryer “sheet” approx 10-12 times before it needs to be “redipped”
  2. If you prefer not to use chemicals, you can opt for vinegar instead!

I made my own fabric softener and it smells like vinegar after my clothes come out of the dryer.

I use vinegar in a downy ball in the washer. Love it. For a scent I add drops of essential oil to the gallon jug of vinegar. Smells lovely.
