*This is MARY’S Nutrisystem Week 13 Update*
I’m back! I took a week “off” as I went on a cruise and then had so many events back to back. But I’m back in full-swing Nutrisystem mode 🙂 When I say I took a week off, that doesn’t mean I was not watching what I ate. I was still eating healthy for the most part, I just was unable to have my Nutrisystem meals for a full week since I was on the ship and then out of town back to back.
Cruise eating: I felt as if every time I turned around it was meal time on the ship. Wake up, shower, eat, head to the pool, eat, watch a show, eat, play some mini golf, dessert time. And the food on a cruise – wow! Thankfully, I have learned a lot about portion control and healthy eating over the last 3 months with Nutrisystem. I was able to look at my plate and figure out the correct portion size. I did not snack between meals because it seemed the meals were so close together. I remembered to drink A LOT of water. I also was able to get a good walk/run in one morning and walked A LOT while I was in port at Nassau. I knew that I would gain some weight on the cruise. I was dreading getting on the scale when returning. To my surprise, I only gained 1 pound!!!
When I got home from all of my travels, I jumped right back on the Nutrisystem plan. I began week 13 and had a great week overall. I increased my water in-take and stocked up on a lot of vegetables this week. My new favorite snack is cucumbers. I could eat them all day long. I’m not sure exactly how I did it – but I lost 3 pounds during week 13. This week’s favorite Nutrisystem food is the chocolate muffins. I have been craving sweets this past week and the Nutrisystem muffins are delicious – especially the chocolate muffins. I heat them up in the microwave for just a few seconds and enjoy them with a cup of coffee. Then I finish with a bottle of water.

WEEK 2: -3.5lbs
WEEK 3: – 2lbs
WEEK 4: -.5 lbs
WEEK 5: -.5lbs
WEEK 6: – 1 lb
Week 7: -2 lb
Week 8: No Change
Week 9: – 2lb
Week 10: no change
Week 11 – 1lb
Week 12: +1lb *was not on the Nutrisystem meal plan at all
Week 13: -3 lb
Total Loss: 18 pounds!
This week’s goal: I am going away again at the end of June for a short Blog Convention. I’d really like to see another 10lbs gone by then. So, this week I’d love to lose 2-3lbs. I’m going to increase my exercise and see if it works!
**ALSO- I’m very excited to report that my mom just ordered her first month of Nutrisystem foods!! I will probably add a little note about her progress starting in the next week or 2. I’m so excited for her**
