Well I’ve made it to week 5. Still chugging along. I have come a long way, and still have a long way to go. I’m up to 3 minute jogs, followed by a 3 minute brisk walk (repeated several times). I didn’t realize how long 3 minutes was, until I had to run it…without stopping.
I wanted to let you know about the app I’m using. It’s called C25K and I love it. It’s simple. Nothing complicated to it. It tells you what to do-when to jog, when to stop. It even interrupts your music if you listen to music while you run!
I have it on my Android (Verizon HTC) and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Who knew that a phone could help you run a 5k? Just head on over to the app store that you use and grab the FREE version to try it out!
