If you’ve been following along on our 5K Journey, you may have noticed a drop-off in posts over the last few weeks from me (Mary). Well, we had quite the 2 weeks in our home. We had about 8 days of the flu. It cycled through everyone. Once the kids were finally recovering and headed back to school I thought we were done. Instead, MY sickness continued and turned into bronchitis. Bronchitis is NOT good for 5K training. Believe me…. lol
So, we will be back on the training schedule on MONDAY. Yes, Monday. I’m giving my body and lungs some more rest and healing. I haven’t even pulled out my bike – I’ve been that exhausted!! I have been getting almost 9 hours of sleep every single night since and it still doesn’t feel like enough.
