Most people use baseball card sheets to hold their coupons in binders. You can also use photo album sheets. The photo album sheets have different size pockets for different size photo’s. Check Office stores for different sizes and look in Walmart in their office supply area for different size sheets. If also else fails look on Ebay or Amazon I’ve seem them on both sites. Also on Ebay I’ve seen people selling ready made binders and some even throw in coupons to make the buy sweeter. I bought one of the half size binders so I can slip into my purse and have it anywhere I go.

When you combine a Publix $ off total purchase with a $ off Winndixie coupon for example ($5 off $30) can you use it on a $30 purchase or do you have to spend $60?? I had an incident at Publix recently over their coupon policy because the cashier wouldn’t accept both and the manager was quiet rude. I have since contacted corporate and am awaiting a reply.

For those coupons, as stated in their policy, you must meet the requirements for both coupons, so you would get $10 off of a $60 transaction when combined.

I clip as needed and file the whole coupon book by month in folder in a filing cabinet. I also use a marker and put the date of the insert on the front page so I don’t have to strain my old eyes trying to read that itty bitty print…

Publix recently changed the wording on their Yellow and Green Flyer coupons, and most, but not all, now state “one deal per coupon” rather than one coupon per customer. Look closely at the fine print on each one to make sure you are using the coupon correctly.

The best way that I’ve found is to pick an item (or two) each week that may be free or super cheap, and really stock up on it. A lot of toiletries can be found at a super low price when combined with a coupon and sale. That way, you can cross that item off of your list for a few months, and have the option of only buying it when it’s at it’s lowest price.

I am still confused about stacking coupons. Like, can you stack a 1.00 /2 item coupon with (2) other coupons like (2) 1.00/1 item. I got the 1 MFG used w/1 Publix or Target coupons, just the stacking of MFG coupons together. Also is there somewhere that tells you who’s sale & coupon matchup is the best deal instead of having to go to each store’s deals & write them all down to compare them? Maybe I just haven’t found it yet?

And a lot of times they have meat and deli coupons in them. I recently got a Winn Dixie flyer with $1 off fresh beef, $1 off fresh pork and $1 off fresh chicken coupons. Some of the booklets are available to request by mail, like the Stocking Spree booklets, and some are available to print online, such as the Publix pet coupons. But in general, the booklets are located in at the front of the store, or at customer service. If one store doesn’t have a specific booklet, I try to go to other locations nearby to check for them. And it doesn’t hurt to call first, either.

No. You can stack one manufacturer’s coupon and either one store or one competitor’s coupon per item (or items if the coupon states $1 off 2, etc).

The target near me says their policy has changed. They no longer accept their store coupons for items less than the amount on the coupon. I wasn’t able to get the glade product last week because the coupon was for a dollar and the glade spray was 0.97 Have you found this to be true at your targets also?

this is a reply to kelly in regard to being able to use an “expired” coupon with your rain check…..I have been able to do this, BUT i did go to the service desk with the expired coupon b4 it expired and had them validate it and staple it to the raincheck….and if you just show them the coupon WHEN asking for the raincheck you could go ahead and have it initialed by the person issuing you the rchk, again STAPLING it to the raincheck…..that way – you don’t have to look for it again, or lose it, or throw it away thinking they won’t accept it…. they probably won’t even send it away to the coupon redemption center for another month anyway……good luck…and did u know the military actually asks people to donate their “expired” coupons to them, why, i don’t remember, maybe someone else can remind us of that program tooo….

I am new to the coupon world and my first week was last week and we saved $100 in three different stores. This week was a little more challenging as I still do not have all the coupons from past weeks. And also at Publix with their Pepsi Next deal I could not find any in 4 different stores. I figured to wait until Sunday to shop because of the coupons coming out but Sunday the sodas were all gone. Does anyone find themselves shopping a few days a week????

Yes, sometimes. But you can always get a raincheck on a sale item that is out of stock, and come back for it later. At Publix, their rainchecks expire in 30 days.

How do you keep track of all the coupons you are using in one transaction? Lately, I have noticed that I am not getting credit for all my coupons….its frustrating, because I take the time to clip them & then don’t get them all taken off at the register.

This is a GREAT question! I take a little notepad with me & write down my items with price as I place them in my cart. I also write down the corresponding coupons that go with that item. Once I reach my $30 or $60 threshold for each transaction, I subtract the amount of coupons from my items & that’s how I know how much my total should be pre-tax. It works out great! There have been times when my total was off & I was able to realize I forgot to give them one of my coupons or that they missed scanning one right there. Also, if you do forget to give them a coupon, or you come across a coupon for an item that you didn’t use one on previously, then you can take the receipt & coupon to customer service & they will give you cash for the value of the coupon. They will accept coupons 2 weeks after purchase!

My question concerns competitor ecard coupons. Since I cannot print out the coupons for redemption and Publix does not have a rewards card available, is it possible to utilize these competitor coupons in some manner at Publix? Also, a couple of weeks ago, Publix had a gas card coupon for a savings of $10. I was informed by the cashier that Publix will honor their store coupons even if they have expired. How long will they honor them, as my husband and I only get paid once a month, so purchasing more than one gas card at a time proves difficult when living on a budget. Thank you.

If your Publix accepts Winn Dixie as a competitor you should look into buying the Enjoy the City Books. They run sales quite often for 5 books for $25 with free shipping, and each one contains 4 $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons. Plus lots of other city specific coupons too! So if you pay $25 and get $100 in savings, that’s like making $75! Plus keep an eye out for Living Social deals on the books, where you can potentially get them for free!
