THE JUNGLE BOOK is now playing in theatres everywhere in 3D, RealD 3D, and IMAX 3D!
Disney has once again blown me away with an amazing film. The 1967 classic, the Jungle Book, has always been a favorite of mine. Not only did I enjoy the classic film, but I also read the book cover to cover more than once. I passed that love on to my children. Needless to say, we are all excited to watch the film together.

I had the chance to view it this past week and I highly recommend heading to the theater this weekend. I also HIGHLY recommend seeing it in 3D if you can. The graphics are amazing. You get completely immersed in the jungle. The animals come alive and you feel like you are there among them.
A few facts to share:
*Mowgli is the only human actor on screen! And he does an amazing job. Mowgli is played by Neel Sethi, a newcomer.
*You WILL hear the “Bare Necessities” in the movie. (and you will most likely sing it for days!)
*The director surprised Mowgli with a hose of water during the scene where Mowgli is on Baloo’s tummy in the water. The reaction you get is REAL.
*Scarlett Johansson plays Kaa, a large snake that gives us background on how Mowgli arrived in the forest.
*You do NOT have to be familiar with the classic animated version to understand this film.
*The amazing actor Christopher Walken plays the voice of King Louie.
