Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip Blondies
*remember to pin this recipe so you don’t lose it*
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups all purpose flour (I tried it with whole wheat flour today, I suggest sticking with the regular flour)
1.5 cups brown sugar
6 tablespoons light butter (I used land o lakes)
2 egg whites (large)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup of mini chocolate chip (umm I added a few extra)
1/3 cup water
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. You can prepare your 13×9 pan by lining it with tin foil.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt
In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and butter. Add in egg whites and vanilla. Slowly add in the flour mixture followed by the water.
Stir in the chocolate chips
Spread your mixture into the tin-foil lined pan. Bake about 25 minutes (keep an eye on them to be sure they don’t get too dark) Cut into 24 squares.
A few tips: I don’t suggest using whole wheat flour. lol. These are best when served warm in my opinion. Also, yours will turn out lighter than my pic because the batch above was made with the whole wheat flour. 🙂
